The Yakama Nation’s Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project is requesting bids for construction of a Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented adjacent to the Twisp River in July through September 2017. The project will involve all work elements and specifications found in the Project Plans attached to this Request for Bids announcement.

This project has adopted by reference in the Engineer's Planset the 2014 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. Please also download a digital copy of the WSDOT_Standard_Specs_Manual-2014.pdf file from this webpage for reference when producing your bids.
Please note that bids will be due in Toppenish by Close of Business, Thursday, May 4, 2017, in hardcopy form. Only hand deliveries and/or mail or parcel delivery service submittals will be accepted.
If you are interested in an award for this contract please attend the only pre-bid site visit scheduled on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at 10:00 am at the project location (929 B Twisp River Rd, Twisp, WA 98856). This site visit will be conducted by Yakama Nation Fisheries Habitat Biologist Madeleine Eckmann, who is the project manager.

Davis Bacon Wages apply to this contract. The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project. Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate. The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
