The Yakama Nation's Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project is providing notice to interested construction contractors that we will be offering a pre-bid site visit for an upcoming Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented along the mainstem of Nason Creek in July, 2023.
The project will likley involve all work elements and specifications found in the DRAFT Project Plans attached to this site visit announcement. Please review the attached Upper Nason Site Tour Notice document to learn more about this scheduled pre-bid site tour and how to attend. Access to this site is very remote and this will be the only scheduled site visit for contractor particpation prior to bidding on the project in 2023.
Please note the Upper Nason Creek Project will likely have special requirements for construction contractors, such as:
- A requirement for sheet pile cofferdams
- Specialized tracked equipment requirements for both construction and site access
- Specialized Best Management Practices (BMP's) associated with site access and construction methods
