The Yakama Nation's Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project is requesting bids for construction of a Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented along the mainstem Methow River in August, 2022. The project will involve all work elements and specifications found in the Project Plans attached to this Request for Bids announcement.

Please note that bids will be due in Toppenish by Close of Business, Thursday, July 7, 2022, in hardcopy form. Due to COVID-19 pandemic impacts only hardcopy proposals submitted via certified mail through the Unites States Post Office to the Yakama Nation Fisheries Post Office Box will be accepted. Due to pandemic related submittal constraints, we strongly encourage all contractors submitting bids to get their hardcopy packages in the mail by Thursday, June 30, 2022 to ensure timely delivery to our Post Office Box by July 7, 2022. It is also recommended that you email Annet Dillman (email@example.com) a digital copy of the bid you have submitted as well as a copy of your certified mail certificate for proof of submission.
Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract. The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project. Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate. The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
This project has adopted by reference in the Engineer's Planset the 2022 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction. Contractor will need to be able to obtain a Commercial Use Permit for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife to perform portions of this work.
