The Yakama Reservation Watersheds Project (YRWP) within Yakama Nation Fisheries is requesting proposals from vegetation maintenance companies to award an indefinite demand / indefinite quantity vegetation maintenance contract in support of salmon habitat restoration activities taking place on the Yakama Reservation. The Yakama Nation has several multi-acre salmon habitat restoration project sites requiring ongoing vegetation maintenance services such as invasive plant control, management of noxious weeds, watering of planted vegetation, browse protection, monitoring, and in some cases additional plantings at project sites as needed.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Davis Bacon Wages apply to this contract. The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
- The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project. Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate. The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
- Application of herbicides will be coordinated with the Bonneville Power Administration through the HIP IV Section 7 Consultation Process. Contractors will demonstrate adequate licensing to apply herbicides and report herbicide use to the Bonneville Power Administration under the guidance of the HIP IV Herbicide Handbook.
