I’m planning a public meeting to present some projects we’ve developed that would place Large Woody Material within the Middle Methow Reach of the Methow River. This is the area covered by our recent River User Assessment that we just did the press release work for.
I plan on targeting the following groups to attend this meeting:
oLocal representatives from the rafting guide and fishing guide community,
oriver rescue entities,
olocal politicians and representatives from Okanogan County, Winthrop, and Twisp,
oMiddle Methow Riverfront Landowners
We will also run an ad in the local paper announcing the event, and put up some fliers in Winthrop and Twisp so other interested public can attend.
I plan on revising the power point presentation to fit with our targeted audiences. Feel free to review and provide comments on that. Mike McCalister of Inter-Fluve will be presenting the design work with me at the public meeting.
