The Yakama Nation is requesting design-build proposals for the Pond 5 Reach Riparian Restoration project to improve fish and wildlife habitat along the lower Yakima River, near Toppenish, Washington. The project will consist of establishing new riparian forest over a 37-acre project site, according to designs and plans developed by the successful bidder. Notice to proceed is expected in mid-February, 2026, and the end of planting work will be 12/1/2028.
Davis Bacon wages apply to this contract. The successful contactor will be required to comply with federal laws and regulations and applicable provisions of the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance and other tribal laws. Estimated cost is $500,000 to $700,000.
