Dry Creek Restoration Wood Harvest

The Yakama Nation is soliciting bids for the collection of trees, road grading, log hauling, and landing preparation on United States Forest Service (USFS) lands.  Restoration activities planned for fall 2026 will place the collected and staged logs with rootwads in Dry Creek, tributary to the Wind River.  Trees with rootwads intact will be collected and staged at designated landings within the harvest unit, located 18 miles North of Carson, Washington in the Wind River basin.

Critical Dates:

In-person Bid Tour:                                                    Friday, August 8, 2025        – 10:00 am

Question Submission Deadline:                                 Monday, August 18, 2025     – 1:00 pm

Bid Submission Deadline:                                         Friday, August 29, 2025       – 11:00 am

Project Initiation:                                                        October 1, 2025   

Project Completion (est):                                           March 1, 2026

   Additional Information:

  •  Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract.  The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation

  • Since electronic submission of bids is specified, the "sealed, separate envelope" requirement is not applicable. Proposals should be submitted as an attachment to an email.

  • The tentative award selection date has changed and will be 9/22/25 (original estimate 9/12/25), and consequently, the estimated contract award/project initiation will be 10/17/25 (original estimate 10/10/25).
