Announcement
The upriver spring chinook run has been downgraded to 116,500 at the mouth
of the Columbia River. The allowable treaty harvest rate is 8.3% which is
projected to be exceeded as of May 31, 2018. Therefore the Fish &
Wildlife Committee hereby close the Platform H&L Fishery in the Columbia River
at 6pm Thursday May 31, 2018. This closure remains in effect through 6am
Saturday June 16, 2018 OR until enough spring chinook are available for tribal harvest
to not exceed the allowed harvest rate. See full regs attached.
