Commercial Setline Fishing Season in John Day Pool

Announcement

The effort and harvest in the Priest Rapids and Wanapum pools has significantly declined.  Therefore the Fish &Wildlife committee hereby closes the sturgeon setline fishery in those pools at 6pm Saturday Dec 16, 2017.

Willamette Lamprey Permits

Announcement
A subsistence fishery for Lamprey will be held during the months of June
and July 2017 at Willamette Falls and fishing must be conducted by permit
shown on the attached permit.  

2017 Open Commercial Summer Gillnet Season

Close Icicle River Fishery until further notice

Due to the low spring chinook returns to date on the Icicle River, it is unlikely the
Leavenworth NFH will achieve broodstock collection.  The fishery on the Icicle

Extend Klickitat River Fishery

The Spring chinook escapement is on track to meet broodstock, therefore the
Fish &Wildlife Committee extends the Klickitat River Fishery through

Cancel 2nd Drano Lake Opening

Spring chinook returns continue to be low.  The F&W Committee does
not want to draw names for the Drano Lake fishery until good numbers
