RFP On-Call Cable Based Tree Pulling for Habitat Restoration in the Upper Columbia Basin

Yakama Nation Fisheries is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for an on-call construction services contract to advise and perform ground-based cable pulling of trees and habitat logs at salmon habitat restoration sites in the Methow, Entiat, and Wenatchee Subbasins.  Based upon the proposals received under this solicitation the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation will award an on-call construction services contract to the best quality bidder for the Scope of Work described within this RFP.

Please note that bids will be due in Toppenish by Close of Business on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in hardcopy form.  Currently only hardcopy proposals submitted through the Unites States Post Office to the Yakama Nation Fisheries Post Office Box will be accepted.  Bids should be mailed to:

We strongly encourage all companies submitting bids to get their hardcopy packages in the mail by June 18, 2026 to ensure timely delivery to our Post Office Box by June 23, 2026.  Additional bid submittal directions are provided in the RFP packet that can be downloaded at the bottom of this webpage. It is also recommended that you email Annet Dillman (dila@yakamafish-nsn.gov) and Chris Butler (butlerc@yakamafish-nsn.gov) a digital copy of the bid you have submitted as well as a copy of your certified mail certificate for proof of submission.

Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract.  The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.

The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project.  Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate.  The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
