The Yakama Nation's Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project is requesting bids for construction of a Salmon Habitat Enhancement Project to be implemented along the Chiwawa River during July 2026. The project will involve all work elements and technical specifications found in Exhibit E - LW Engineered Design and Side Channel Engineered Design, Exhibit F - Technical Specifications and the Bid Packet.

Please note that bids will be due in Toppenish by Close of Business, Tuesday, May 19, 2024, in hardcopy form. Only hardcopy proposals submitted to Yakama Nation Fisheries via parcel delivery service or postal mail will be accepted. Bids should be mailed or shipped to:
We strongly encourage all contractors submitting bids to get their hardcopy packages in the mail sufficiently early to meet the submittal deadline. It is also recommended that you email Annet Dillman (dila@yakamafish-nsn.gov) a digital copy of the bid you have submitted as well as a copy of your certified mail certificate for proof of submission.
Additional Information:
- Davis Bacon Wages Apply to this contract. The winning contractor will adhere to the Davis Bacon rules and comply and submit all necessary paperwork to the Yakama Nation.
- The Yakama Nation is exempt from state taxes on this project. Please see the attached Treaty Fishery Exempt Cover Letter and Treaty Fishery Exempt Certificate. The winning contractor will receive signed copies for their records.
- This project has adopted by reference in the Engineer's Planset the 2026 Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction.
