Yakama Nation Fisheries State Route 207 Project - Chelan County

Project abstract:

Welcome to the Yakama Nation Fisheries (YNF) State Route 207 Project Summary Webpage.

This webpage provides a summary of the background and technical information the YNF Upper Columbia Habitat Restoration Project (YNF UCHRP) is using to develop salmon habitat restoration actions in the stretch of Nason Creek abutting the Lake Wenatchee Highway (SR 207) north of Cole's Corner in Chelan County, Washington.  The YNF UCHRP has partnered with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest (OWNF) to address on-going salmon habitat impairment and highway functionality concerns for a segment of SR 207 that remains a high priority WSDOT Chronic Environmental Deficiency site.
